Feature Car: Don Mills’ 1967 Holden HR Panel Van

04 Jun

Issue 45 of Custom Utes magazine is due out on the stands shortly and feature our photo shoot and story on Don Mills and his sweet 1967 Holden HR panel van, HRROOT. The yellow van has been entirely home built in Don’s two-car garage, including the paint and panel, engine work, machining… you name it. Be sure to pick up a copy of the magazine so you can read the entire story.

The van is powered by a 308ci Holden V8 from an HX Kingswood and is backed up by a narrowed Borg Warner diff’, with a T5 5-speed in between. The cabin is cool, too, with plenty of custom touches like that wicked tubular centre console and all that billet machining completed by Don.

As always, we’ve got a selection of images from the shoot for you to download FREE as desktop wallpapers and lighting and EXIF info is available on our Flickr page for any shooters out there interested. CLICK HERE or on the thumbnails below to check them out.
