Feature Car: Mark Sullivan’s 1963 Lincoln Continental

21 Aug

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of Mark Sullivan’s automotive creations over the last six or seven years. I think this air-bagged Lincoln Continental makes it number three, plus a Performance Garage cover shoot.
The Lincoln, which boasts a 393ci Windsor V8 and custom orange trim, was featured in the August issue of Street Machine.

Wicked Wednesdays: FREE High-Resolution Patina Textures 4

02 Feb

OK, so thanks to the Australia Day holiday and us being out covering a Commodore cruise as well, we didn’t get you your free high-resolution texture images last week. Additionally, who can believe we’re up to number five in our series of patina textures!?

This weeks collection of six high-resolution texture images include more rust and flaking paint, including some images taken from the recent 2010 Taren Point Rat Rod Day, in NSW Australia.

If you love rust, dents, faded and flaking paint on cars, you’ll love these patina textures. They’re all FREE for personal and commercial use, however resale, repackaging and redistribution are prohibited and punishable by death. Don’t think we’re kidding!

Click on (or right click and Save-As) the thumbnails for the full resolution experience:
