Feature Bikes: Tim and Neil’s Custom Harley Davidson Bobbers

19 Jan

Issue 13 of Wild Aussie Choppers contains no less than four feature photo shoots by Hosking Industries and this shoot on Tim and Neil’s matching Harley Davidson-powered bobbers is one of them. Hailing from the Northen Beaches of Sydney in NSW, Australia, Tim and Neil are mates that share a love of custom cars and bikes and own a few cool machines between them, including the work-in-progress F-truck that’s in the shed behind the bikes.

These two motorcycles garnered an extensive spread in the magazine and you can read all about their construction and technical specs in issue 13, on-sale now. For all the strobist fans, you’ll find lighting information in the captions for each shot on our Flick page by CLICKING HERE or on the thumbs below. And don’t forget, we also offer these six images in desktop wallpaper dimensions FREE!

Feature Car: Brian Mortenson’s EH Holden Drag Ute

22 Jul

A selection of five images from a photo shoot recently published in Xtreme Holdens magazine in Australia of Brian Mortenson’s incredible home-built EH Holden utility. Brian built the car himself in a standard double-width garage at home over a five year period, but his history with the car dates way back to the 1980s.

You can read the entire story in the latest issue (issue 38) of Xtreme Holdens magazine, published by Express Publications, on sale now. Hosking Industries wrote the story as well as took the photos, some of which you can see here today.

Feature Car: RAT065 Valiant Ute for Aussie Brutes Magazine

11 Feb

Be sure to check issue 29 of Aussie Brutes magazine for our photoshoot and feature story on Kyle Smith’s white Valiant ute, RAT065. A cool retro V8-powered machine, Kyle’s ute was shot in the workshop of Evolution Motorsports in Brookvale NSW, Australia.

We lit the ute with three Canon Speedlite flashes and merged the background in separately, having lit it separately with the same flashes.

If you’d like to buy a print of this vehicle, send us an email! Additionally, if you’d like to give your pride and joy a professional photoshoot like this, Hosking Industries offer package deals in the greater Sydney and Newcastle areas at reasonable rates.

Feature Car: 496ci 1932 Ford for Heavy Duty Hotrods Magazine

12 Jan

Heavy Duty Hotrods magazine, published by Express Publications, have published my photo shoot on Ben Moglia’s purple 1932 Ford hotrod. It’s a mean machine, with a 496ci BBC V8 lurking up front and some meaty rubber out back.

We shot it near Ben’s home town south of Sydney using an array of Canon Speedlite flash equipment and the main exterior shots are composites from four to six images to get the lighting exactly right.

CLICK HERE or on the images below to view them in a higher resolution. You can even download a 1280-res desktop image for your computer, FREE!
