Feature Bike: Steven Cooke’s 1951 Harley Davidson Panhead

30 May

Our photo shoot and feature story on Steven Cooke’s 1951 Harley Davidson panhead is in the latest issue of Heavy Duty magazine (issue 146), which is on sale right now! Salvaged from a long-forgotten unfinished project that sat in a shed for some 15 years, the custom is making up for lost time with plenty of road miles and fun events like the dirt racing at Chopped. Read all about it in Heavy Duty.

Feature Car: Steven Cooke’s ‘Headhunter’ Kustom Ford Victoria

01 Jun

We just got our sweaty hands on copies of issue 15 of Heavy Duty Hot Rods magazine which goes on sale soon. Hosking Industries has two photo shoots inside this issue, including the one on this, Steven Cooke’s awesomely ratty 1954 Ford Victoria kustom.

Steve’s sled boasts a huge array of body mods and runs a 302ci Ford V8, riding on airbags for that snake-belly low stance. It’s plenty rough around the edges, but that’s how Steve likes it; making for trouble-free, worry-free cruising. He’s always got a nicer ’60s kustom in the garage if he’s wanting to worry about dents and scratches. Be sure to pick up a copy of issue 15 when it goes on sale.

As always, we’ve got a few FREE desktop wallpaper images of the car on our Flickr page for you to download. You’ll find EXIF data and lighting info on each image’s caption, too. CLICK HERE or on the thumbnails below to jump.
