Feature Car: Jonathan Danaskos' 1965 Ford Mustang
Not many cars succeed in being more than one or two things. Some cars make a boatload of horsepower but look pretty ordinary. Others have immaculate interiors but the engine bay lets it down… you get the idea.
Jonathan Danaskos’ 1965 Ford Mustang ticks just about any box you might like to mark it against: it has smooth paint and a smooth engine bay, it has a great interior (custom, yet off the shelf from the USA!), it boasts an awesome stance on those 15in Weld V-series rims and yeah… it makes a ton of power, too. 620rwhp, to be exact. On an earlier, less powerful combo the car ran a 10.9sec ET and he’s hoping to deep into the 10s next time out. What a street car!
My photo shoot on the coupe was featured in the March 2021 issue of Street Machine.
