Cover Car: Joe Tyler's 1964 EH Holden Wagon

I was presented with a fresh challenge for this photo shoot on Joe Tyler’s – one that I’d been meaning to do more of for years: car-to-car tracking shots. The brief was to capture the balls-out, blown 416ci LS3-powered ’64 wagon on the street for the front cover of Street Machine. A ton of research on locations, technique and a borrowed lens with image stabilisation later and this is the result. The car appeared on the front of the October 2019 issue.

Cover Car: Fabion Corio's 1962 VW Karmann Ghia

My photo shoot on Fabion Corio’s pristine 1962 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was featured on the front cover of the latest issue of VW Magazine Australia, which is still on sale now. Powered by a 1776cc engine with twin Kadron carbs and custom manifolds, the car sits nice and low and looked beautiful as the sun went down during our shoot on Sydney’s south-eastern shores.

Feature Car: Jason Pellett's Holden HT Kingswood

Jason Pellett built this pristine 1970 HT Holden Kingswood as a tribute to his late brother Michael. Powered by a 308ci Holden V8 within a clinically clean engine bay, the clean black and white theme is carried throughout the car, which is a great cruiser for Jason, his wife Ashley and twin boys. It was featured in the September 2019 issue of Street Machine.

Feature Car: Webby's Speed Shop 1936 Ford

Webby’s Speed Shop in Newcastle crafts incredible, truly bespoke custom rods. Basically a one-man operation, Tony Webster’s latest creation is a reworking of his own work truck. Formerly a monstrous blown Hemi-powered rat rod, the ’36 Ford is now the epitome of class and sophistication and my photo shoot on it was featured in the 22nd August 2019 edition of Just Cars.

Feature Car: Gary Taylor's 1965 Ford XP Falcon

This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this silver XP Ford Falcon. I previously shot the car for Street Fords magazine when old owner Andrew owned the car. Today, the car is owned by Gary Taylor and he’s spent plenty of time tidying it up and putting his own stamp on it. This photo shoot featured in the September issue of Street Machine.

Feature Car: V Resto Garage 1971 Ford XY Falcon

The latest monster Falcon to leave the V Resto Garage workshop is this 438ci, 8/71-blown beast that I photographed for the September issue of Street Machine. With 934hp on tap, it’s no slouch for a street car!
